	July 2011 \| Finstral-System in Glaswelt With the construction of the “Alpina Dolomites” on the Seiser Alm Alpine meadow in South Tyrol, the architects succeeded in creating a symbiosis with nature at an altitude of 1,860 meters. Thanks to the windows produced by our customer Finstral, the five-star establishment fulfils the demands for energy consumption that is as low as possible and harmonious integration into the mountain ambience. In its June edition, the trade journal Glaswelt presents the “Alpina Dolomites” on a total of two pages and, in a detailed product report, describes the Lignatec window system from Finstral used in it. 	July 2011 \| Press trip to Tremco illbruck in Bodenwöhr In mid-July, more than 20 trade journalists responded to the invitation by our customer Tremco illbruck to spend 1½ days visiting its factory. pro publica organised the press trip to one of the sealing specialist’s competence centres in the Upper Palatinate town of Bodenwöhr. Besides including a tour of the factory, the programme comprised several special-subject talks in the presence of the company’s international management.

	July 2011 \| Haas product presentation in a trade journal Our customer, the Haas Group, presented the wood material of its subsidiary Haas Holzindustrie on the occasion of the building fair BAU in Munich. In its issue 6, Der Zimmermann, a trade journal for training and practice in timber construction, presents the new solid board plywood element for walls, ceilings and roofs in an illustrated article. The board plywood can be prefabricated in large dimensions and is suitable for use almost anywhere in load-bearing applications in modern timber construction. 	June 2011 \| Online publications for HI-MACS® We realised two online publications at the end of May for our Swiss customer HI-MACS®, Geneva. The editorial boards of Detail Daily and Designline reported on the universally applicable mineral material. Detail Daily, the newsletter published by the renowned architectural trade journal Detail, and Designline Bad, the online magazine for product and interior design, devote themselves to the Blend hand washbasin collection, which is made out of HI-MACS®. The Dutch designer Marike Anderweg won the iF 2011 Product Design Award with the Blend collection. Here can read the article in Detail Daily; you will find the clipping from Designline here.

	May 2011 \| Domestic silver fir from Lignotrend dominates school extension In its April edition, the architecture magazine deutsche bauzeitung (db) portrays the Harter + Kanzler architects’ office from Freiburg and Haslach. Besides a building yard including an administrative wing and a house, db also presents the extension of a secondary school in Furtwangen. The forest’s strong presence was what crucially influenced the decision in favour of the construction material for the new extension building. From the load-bearing structure through the façade and the window elements to the room-acoustically effective acoustic ceiling, all from our customer Lignotrend, almost everything is made out of domestic silver fir. 	April 2011 \| Alho realises clinic extension in Braunschweig In its 4/2011 issue, the trade journal Das Krankenhaus presents the modular extension building of Braunschweig’s municipal clinic. Our customer Alho, Morsbach, realised the two-storey extension as a turnkey modular structure. The new wing meets all requirements for energy efficiency and equipment that are placed on conventionally constructed clinic buildings as well. Instead of the eighteen months for a comparable solid construction, the pure construction time was only three months. If you want to read more, click on the picture on the right.

	March 2011 \| GFF interview with Haas managing director Within the scope of its review of the BAU fair, in its March edition the trade journal for glass, windows, facades and metal, GFF, published an interview with the managing director of our customer Haas in Falkenberg. Dr. Tanja Haas-Lensing is the managing director of the Haas Group and is responsible within the management team for sales and marketing. 	March 2011 \| Report on product expansion at Tremco illbruck The Cologne-based sealing specialist Tremco illbruck has expanded its product range. This was reason enough for the marketing magazine for construction suppliers, Bauelemente Bau, to report on it in its review of the BAU fair. As from now, Tremco illbruck is offering a new tailored product for surface-mounted box sealing, the illbruck TP021 illmod duo RK, and is thus extending its ground-breaking system of multi-function sealing tapes.
